| Job Description (in maximum of 100 words) | In this project, we will develop a blockchain based platform for recording and rewarding of cleaning of river Ganga , and a mobile application for the same. |
| Essential Qualification | The applicant should be B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Computer Science & Engineering/IT with minimum of first class from a reputed institute with Valid GATE Score.
OR ME/M.Tech. Degree in Computer Science & Engineering/ IT with minimum of first class from a reputed institute. OR MCA with minimum of first class from a reputed institute. In case class is not specified in degree the minimum 60% marks or 7.0 OGPA will be considered as 1st class. |
| Desirable Qualification | Working knowledge of Hyperledger/ Ethereum for making blockchain platform and building mobile application. NET/GATE cleared candidates will be given preference. |
| Age and Relaxation (if any) | The upper age limit is 30 years at the time of appointment (Age relaxation as per GOI/UGC JRF rules) |

| Shortlisted candidates will be informed through email for the date of interview. Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview. Candidates will be short listed based on their merit and as per the requirement of the project. All candidates should make their own arrangements for their stay at Haridwar, if required. General conditions for Junior Research Fellow:
- Professionals with requisite qualifications and experience as prescribed would be eligible for being engaged as JRF. However, if suitable NET/GATE qualified candidates are not found, the candidates without these qualifications may be considered for Project Fellow as per the UCOST approved fellowship rates.
- JRF / Project Fellow would be engaged for a fixed period for providing high quality services to the project or for attending to specific and time-bound jobs.
- The appointment of JRF / Project Fellow would be on Full-time basis and they would not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of project with the GK(DU), Haridwar except Ph.D from GK(DU), Haridwar.
- The appointment of JRF/ Project Fellow is purely temporary on co-terminus basis and do not entitle the appointee to any claim implicit or explicit or any post. The appointment can be cancelled at any time by the GKV, Haridwar without assigning any reason.
- The initial term of appointment and subsequent extension (s) if any, shall be decided on case to case basis depending upon the specific jobs as per progress report and the time frame for its completion.
- The JRF/Project Fellow shall not be entitled to any allowance such as Dearness Allowance, Residential, Telephone, Transport facility, Personal Staff etc.
- The selection of candidates will be made through Interview by selection committee. Date of interview will be communicated to shortlisted candidates via email. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for attending the interview.
- No TA/DA shall be admissible for joining the appointment on contractual basis. JRF/ Project fellow shall be allowed TA/DA for their travel inside the country in connection with the official works as per Vishwavidyalaya rules.
- Candidates have to attend the interview on the date, time, and place at GKV, Haridwar (which will be intimated on email) with complete bio-data, passport size photograph and original proof of qualifications and experiences. They must also bring with them self-attested copies of their certificates. Candidate may be report in GKV, Haridwar in 0:30 hours before Interview time. After starting of Interview, admission in the same will not be allowed.
- Maximum Age 30 years on the date of interview. Higher age can be relaxed in case of candidate having exceptional qualifications and experience by the selection committee. Age relaxation of as per Govt. of India rules. Note: Candidates before appearing for the Interview shall ensure that they are eligible (in the required field) for the position they intended to apply.
