Degree : Bachelor in Pharmacy (B. Pharm)(4-year course)

Bachelor of Pharmacy program curriculum is designed to develop a Pharmacist with scientific and technical skills, who can devote his education to healthcare system.

The Bachelor degree course has 4 major areas of specialization:

  • PHARMACEUTICS
  • PHARMACOLOGY
  • PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY
  • PHARMACOGNOSY

ELIGIBILITY

  • A pass in any of the following examinations: candidate have passed intermediate (10+2) examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics as optional subject individually.
  • Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the above examinations.
  • ‘provided that a student should complete the age of 17 year on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course

Bachelor of Pharmacy program curriculum is designed to develop a Pharmacist with scientific and technical skills, who can devote his education to healthcare system.

  • Passed in D. Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
  • Admission shell be given on the basis of the qualifying examination through counselling

Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm)(2-year course)

The 2-year course includes program study of in General Pharmacy, Dispensing Pharmacy, Human Anatomy, Physiology, of Human Body, Health Education and Community Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry along with Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy. The program also particularizes the details on formulation of various dosage forms , drug store management and Forensic Pharmacy.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Candidate have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination approved by the Pharmacy Council of India with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as optional subject individually as equivalent to the above examinations.
  • Admission shell be given on the basis of merit list prepared by the marks obtained in the qualifying examination through counselling.
