Library In-charge – Vinod Nautiyal and Balwant Singh Rawat.
The department has its own well-established library with more than 4000 books. The official pharmaceutical compendia i.e. Indian Pharmacopoeia, International Pharmacopoeia, United State Pharmacopoeia, British Pharmacopoeia, Herbal Pharmacopoeia etc. are also available in hard and soft copies in the library. Different research journals such as Indian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Indian Journal of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, International Journal of Current Chemistry, Indian Drugs, Pharma-Times etc. are subscribed for the technical enrichment of budding pharmacy professionals as well as the faculties of the department. Various magazines and newspapers are also subscribed for the surrounding up-to-datedness of the departmental personals. The Knowledge Resources available in Departmental Library Book Collection System has been categorized accordingly, arranged and maintained separately:

Guidelines of Library Use
- As per time-table all books from the library will be issue or allotted to students only for 15 days, if any student does not return the book to the library within the specified period then he/she has to pay overdue fine.
- The books will be issued according to following:
- a) Four books to the Students/Research Scholar against the library card.
- b) Reference books are not issued to Students/Research Scholar but can be accessed by student against the library card for a specific time period.
- Books must be returned to the library after 15 days from the date of issue.
- The study material/Books will be issued to the students only as per library schedule.
- The books will be distributed on the second day after submission of name of the book, writer and class etc. to the library in details. But above indent will not be reserved till three days.
- Reference material and study room material will be used in the library only, it will not be distributed for taking outside of library.
- The issued library material will be asked to submit any time as per need of other students.
- Books once issued is the full responsibility of borrower. So, the borrower must check and satisfy himself before any book is issued.
- If book is lost or damaged by the borrower shall replace the book or pay the cost of replacement at current printed price.
- If borrower is found to indulge in any activity against the library rule/order, library-in-charge has right to debar him to using library or will write to the University Administration for further disciplinary action.
- No Dues certificate will be issued on the next day of submission of application form of the students who are willing No Dues certificate.

Departmental Animal House
Animal House Facility
Pharmacological and Toxicological research facilities is available at Department of Pharmaceutical Science, Gurukula Kangri (Deemed to be University), Haridwar for PG students/ Research Scholars.
Animal House CPCSEA Registration
The facility has been registered under the Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India.
Institutional Animal Ethics Committee
Institutional Animal Ethical Committee is constituted under Committee for the Purpose of Control And Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA) for approved and performing all the experiments involving animals. To obtain ethical clearance for use of animals in academics and research, the IAEC meetings held regularly. All the relevant records is well maintains and the approved protocol is being followed in compliance with the approval granting committee and progress is regularly reviewed by IAEC.

Departmental Central Instrumentation Laboratory (CIL)
The central instrument laboratory (CIL) at Department of Pharmaceutical Science has sophisticated analytical instruments like High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) system, Double beam UV-Visible spectrophotometer, Polarimeter, Colorimeter, etc.

Departmental Herbal Garden
Herbal garden of the department have variety of medicinal plants where students get the chance to get introduction and knowledge about the medicinal usefulness of the plants along with their source, botanical designations, their constituents and their cultivation techniques etc. This enables the students collect the information about plants material for conducting the practical of B. Pharm & D. Pharm students. Departmental Herbal Garden at Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar has well maintained medicinal Herbal Garden with about 50+ medicinal plants including herbs like Tulsi, Vinca, Ashoka. Department is also having two auspicious trees of Rudraksh in its Herbal Garden.
Medicinal Plants are arranged according to their pharmacological and chemical Category: Alkaloids (Rauwolfia, Ashwagandha), Glycosides (Senna), Terpenoids (Lemon Grass, Germenium, Cinnamon etc), Resins (Ginger, Curcuma, Hedychium), Tennins (Ashoka, Arjuna, Amla etc)
