About

Overview

I am a mathematics and statistics educator committed to academic excellence, research advancement, and the holistic development of students. I currently serve as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at Gurukula Kangri (Deemed to be University), Haridwar, Uttarakhand (India), a position I have held since March 2011. I obtained my M.Sc. from IIT Roorkee in 2003 and my Ph.D. from Gurukula Kangri University in 2008, and I have qualified UGC-NET (JRF), CSIR-NET (JRF), and GATE. With more than 16 years of teaching experience, my academic work focuses on Optimization Techniques, Soft Computing, Distributed Computing System, along with applied mathematical and optimization techniques. I have published over 40 research papers in reputed national and international journals, authored three textbooks for undergraduate and postgraduate students, and contributed several chapters to edited volumes. I have also been invited to chair sessions at international conferences and workshops and have served on the program committees of several international academic events, actively contributing to the global research community.
