Overview

I am Dr. Rekha Rajpoot, an academic specializing in Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology. I have completed my Ph.D on Pracheen Bharat Me Mahila Udhyami (Prarambh se 1200 A.D ) Tak, where my research focus on the economic, social & occupational roles of women in ancient Indian society based on literary & archaeological sources. Currently I am working as an Assistant Professor ( Adhoc) AIHCA Dept. in Kanya Gurukul Campus Dehradun. My academic interests include women's history ancient labour system, social structure & archaeological interpretation. I am deeply engaged in teaching research & guiding students with a strong commitment to Archaeology & Museology, Political history of ancient India & understanding and presenting the role of women in ancient Indian society.
